The Ohio District was recently contacted by the US Navy concerning the  need for chaplains . Right now there are thousands of uniformed service members serving in the Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and Marines without adequate chaplain support.
The LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces supports LCMS military chaplains. More information concerning the LCMS military chaplaincy program is available HERE
