Dear Early Childhood Director,

We hope you are planning to join us for the Ohio District Early Childhood Directors’ Conference on June 5 and 6 at St. John, Dublin. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Yvonne Gustafson, is a highly respected family counselor and expert on child development. She will share ideas for communicating with children and parents, approaches for “wild” behavior in the classroom, and other topics that can be used in classrooms or in your work with parents. Her session will also include time to ask questions about specific situations in your school. Check out your-parenting-matters.com for more info about Dr. Gustafson.

Have you had a “wild and woolly” year? Do you need ideas from your colleagues? Do you have ideas to share with others? We will discuss hot topics as a whole group and in break-out sessions based on your interests. Be thinking about topics for these times.

On Wednesday morning, we’ll meet at St. John for devotions and an introduction to the activities on our field trip to the Columbus Zoo. The cost of zoo admission is included in your registration. You may also purchase extra tickets for family or friends as part of our field trip group for just $3.00 each! Your family/friends may explore on their own during the morning or try activities with our group. The tickets are valid for the whole day, so you are welcome to stay for the afternoon, too.

If you have never attended the Ohio District Early Childhood Directors Conference, we encourage you to join us this year! If you have attended previous conferences, we are excited to see you and spend time with you again!

Enjoy the rest of your school year!
